The cornerstone of the Ski Club calender is obviously winter. We kick off every winter break with a week long trip which has become known as BIG TRIP. Big Trip has been taken to mountains as mind-blowing as Whistler, BC; Steamboat Springs, CO; and Big Sky, MT. The week is filled with 4 out of 5 day lift passes, nightly events, and countless new friendships. With big names in entertainment performing at our welcome party and 4 digit bar tabs at the pub crawl, every member who attends this trip is bound to die happy.
After your collective minds have been blown, prepare yourselves for 7 small trips which will keep you from inevitable depression during the long school year. Our small trip season starts in Mammoth and ends on Lake Don Pedro. Whether snowboarding, skiing, sledding, boating, or simply having a good time and getting away is your cup of tea, small trips have everything you need.
2012 Small Trips
It's that time of the season again! The cost of small trips range from $90 to $130 and include lodging, food, and beverages for 3-4 nights. We typically have ride meetings on the Tuesday before the trip to arrange carpools and then leave Thursday evening (with some cars leaving Friday). Signups go online about a week beforehand, and since there is a limited number of spots, they fill up fast!
